Dates and fees
Early bird registration postponed until 24 April due to new information regarding the parallel tracks day 3, 15 June.
- Early bird conference fee: 4200 SEK
- Conference fee from 25 April: 4900 SEK
- Contributors get a 25% discount on the conference fee.
- Last day to register: 1 June
What’s included in my conference fee?
- Attendance in the conference programme
- Social programme and Welcome Reception on Tuesday, 13 June
- Coffee/tea on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 13–15 June
- Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, 14–15 June
This is not included in the conference fee:
The conference dinner on Thursday evening, 14 June is free of choice and not included in the conference fee.
The conference takes place in different venues in Uppsala and a good way to get around the city is by bus. You have the option to buy a 3-day bus pass with unlimited rides. The bus pass will be handed out in person when in Uppsala.
If you prefer to make your way around the city by bike, check with your hotel if they lend bikes. Another option is to rent a bike.
Get your expenses for participation covered!
Listen up all of you non-Swedish participants! A great opportunity to get your expenses covered is to apply for Erasmus+ funding.
Since this event truly is aiming for interaction and building relations with Nordic colleagues it should qualify for funding.
Contact your local Erasmus coordinator to learn more. Make sure to highlight the networking focus of the mini-fair on 13 June as well as the reflective groups the following day.

Swedish participants
Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronic invoice (e-faktura) if possible.
The deadline to register with the payment option invoice is 12 May, 2023.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice).
Invoice
When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration. The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
The deadline to register with the payment option bank transfer (invoice) is 12 May, 2023.
Information about payment with credit card
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.
For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.
If you receive an error message when paying with your card, please check with your bank to see if they have a block on overseas payments, a block on internet payments, and/or a limit on the amount that can be charged in one day. These are common reasons why a payment initially does not go through.
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat.
Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 12 May, 2023, up to which date the total amount will be refunded except for a cancellation fee of SEK 750. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after 12 May, 2023, nor for no-shows for any reasons. Cancellation of only separate activities or meals, is non-refundable.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place for an administrative fee of 250 SEK.
